Brake awards success for Interactive Driving Systems and friends

The annual Fleet Safety Forum Awards for Excellence, was held last night (1 July) at a prestigious gala dinner at the Chesford Grange Hotel in Warwickshire, with more than 260 guests. The awards are run by the Fleet Safety Forum, a division of road safety charity Brake, to recognise the achievements of those working in the rapidly developing field of road risk management. Generous donations on the night raised a significant amount of money for the charity.

There were 40+ winning or highly commended awards in many different categories, including Safe Vehicles, Company Driver Safety, Fleet Service Provider of the Year and Risk Manager of the Year.

Interactive Driving Systems® received the Fleet Safety Analysis and Action award and was highly commended in the Fleet Safety Provider of the Year Award.

Several users of Virtual Risk Manager® were also successful:
- Vauxhall Motors received the Company Driver Safety Award and were highly commended in the Fleet Safety Analysis and Action Award.
- BT, Rentokil Initial, Iron Mountain and Volkerrail were highly commended in the Company Driver Safety Award.
- BT and Rentokil initial were highly commended in the Road Risk Manager of the Year Award.
