Interactive Driving Systems with the National Organization for Youth Safety Coalition
16th February 2009
Interactive Driving Systems® is delighted to announce the development of a long term commitment to NOYS, the National Organization for Youth Safety Coalition. The primary aim of the relationship will be to develop exciting online initiatives to help 16-25 year olds across America develop the behaviors required to keep them safe on US roads.

Nearly 5,000 youths die in road traffic incidents each year in America leaving behind many thousands of friends, parent and loved ones wondering not only why, but what could they have done differently to prevent this horrific lose of life.

Interactive Driving Systems® and NOYS initiatives will include, One More Second® - an online game environment that the young drivers of America will be able to upload their own questions and photo's to, as well as training/awareness materials to work through with their parents. First product release will be in May 2010 during NOYS National Youth Traffic Safety Month.

A further aim of the strategic relationship will be to see what more can be learned about attitudes to safety in this age group to aid in the development of new materials for future release.

The Interactive Driving Systems® Road Safety Foundation will be delivering these exciting new materials free of charge to the youth of America, through the extensive reach of the NOYS coalition.

National Organizations for Youth Safety, NOYS, is a coalition of national organizations, business and industry leaders, and federal agencies that focus on youth health and safety. The mission of the NOYS coalition is to promote youth leadership, and build partnerships that save lives, prevent injuries and enhance safe and healthy lifestyles among all youth.
